The recently exhibited photographic work ‘Specs of My Core Exploding Outwards’ by Max Chahine explores newfound belonging and community creation as a 2nd generation Lebanese artist who grew up on Darug Land, existing in the overlap of traditionally conflicting cultures. The portrait work, exhibited by Betchouf SWANA collective, is a touching exploration of identity, expression and connection. It takes us on a journey of self discovery and allows us to appreciate the beauty of intersecting identities and their intricate nuances.
